George Mitchell School has new web site
The George Mitchell School in North London has excellent results especially in arts and the media. Beetlebrow's new site gives them an online image to match their academic excellence.
While their old site had provided years of sterling service, GMS decided it was time to revamp their image and get a web site fit for the 21st Century. Having seen Beetlebrow's site for Holland Parck School, tey quickly decided that they wanted more of the same.
After a design process in which a selected team of students was heavily involved in providing feedback and comments, a design was chosen, emphasising the dynamic nature of the learning environment. A multimedia gallery allows the school to showcase video and audio productions by the pupils, as well as paintings, photographs in a more traditional image gallery.
The Plone CMS gives George Mitchell School complete control over the web site, and they found, after a short introductory session, it to be very easy to use and quick to learn.
